Recently, Zhiyuan partnered with Wuhan Cultural Tourism Group and Zhongyun Weixun to launch the world's first full-size bipedal humanoid robot retail warehouse. The Yuan Zheng A3 Ultra humanoid robot commenced operations at the Jiangyu Bridge film camp in Hankou, providing real-time commercial services. As of October 19, the robot has operated for 18 days, completing 827 orders with a success rate exceeding 97%.
This initiative is significant as it marks a shift from traditional vending machines to a fully autonomous humanoid robot capable of product recognition, precise grabbing, and delivery across various snack and beverage categories. The robot also engages in rich human-machine interactions, effectively handling high visitor traffic during nighttime at Jiangtan. Zhiyuan aims to establish a deployment phase by 2026, emphasizing the importance of robots as core productivity drivers in the physical AI world.
Looking ahead, Zhiyuan plans to replicate the success of the Jiangtan project in other urban landmarks and consumer scenarios, positioning embodied intelligence as a new engine for urban night economies and smart cultural tourism. The deployment of the Yuan Zheng A3 Ultra signifies a transition from being merely a technological spectacle to a productive force capable of generating real revenue.
