The company's multiScan100 3D LiDAR provides 360° all-round perception for autonomous mobile robots and AMR fleets. SICK sensors were notably used in Stanley, the autonomous vehicle that won the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge.
In February 2025, SICK's Industrial Cybersecurity Test Center in Waldkirch received accreditation from the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) for IEC 62443-4-2, reflecting the company's commitment to industrial cybersecurity.
