Blue Arrow's Former President Leads National Space Robotics Firm to Secure Nearly 100 Million Yuan Funding

Recently, Guoyu Xingchen (Shanghai) Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of nearly 100 million yuan in Series A financing, with investments from Yijing Capital, Fosun Chuangfu, and Luyao Capital. This funding will primarily support the development of space robotics clusters and market expansion.
The significance of this funding lies in the unique challenges faced by space robots, which operate in extreme conditions such as temperature fluctuations, strong radiation, communication delays, and microgravity. Historically dominated by state-owned enterprises, the entry of commercial companies into this sector raises questions about their ability to establish a viable business model under such stringent constraints.
Looking ahead, Guoyu Xingchen aims to leverage its self-developed space robotics systems for in-orbit services, including assembly, maintenance, and deep space exploration. The company plans to launch its second satellite, Xingji Yuan No. 2, in the first quarter of 2027, which will validate its seven-degree-of-freedom robotic arm and refueling interface, with further satellites in development for scalable commercial operations.
