Sberbank's robotics unit building the GREEN humanoid (180 cm, 41 DOF) and WORKER semi-humanoid, controlled by its Green-VLA model.
Sber Robotics Center is the robotics division of Sberbank, Russia's largest bank, based at the bank's headquarters at 19 Vavilova Street, Moscow. The unit develops physical AI, combining Sber's artificial intelligence models with robot embodiments that can work alongside people in real environments.
Its flagship product is GREEN, presented as Sber's first anthropomorphic robot and built by Russian engineers. GREEN was shown publicly at the AI Journey 2025 conference in Moscow, where Sber CEO German Gref described it as the start of physical AI at the bank. According to the official product page, GREEN is 180 cm tall, weighs 75 kg, has 41 degrees of freedom and a top speed of 0.9 m/s. It is controlled by Green-VLA, a vision-language-action model developed by Sber that perceives the environment, interprets task commands and generates robot motion, and it uses the GigaChat large language model for natural-language conversation. Listed skills include spatial orientation, obstacle avoidance, simple manipulation tasks, self-correction of errors and spoken dialogue.
The second product is WORKER, a semi-humanoid robot aimed at retail and service environments to automate routine processes and object handling. Target use cases named by Sber for its robots include collecting goods and stocking shelves in retail, assembling and packing products in manufacturing, handling test tubes and biological samples in laboratories, and room service and cleaning in hospitality.
General inquiries are handled through a contact form on the Robotics Center website; media inquiries go to Sberbank's press office.
