Gom has announced a partnership with NLrobotics, becoming the first Theme Partner in the cleaning sector. This collaboration aims to enhance the integration of robotics into their services, building on Gom's extensive use of cleaning robots across various locations in the Netherlands.
The partnership is significant as it highlights Gom's commitment to scaling up robotics in cleaning, which has already seen the deployment of approximately 100 robots in diverse environments such as offices and educational institutions. NLrobotics, as the industry association, provides access to a broad ecosystem of companies and technology partners, facilitating faster development of new applications.
Looking ahead, Gom plans to focus on further scaling and standardization of robotics within their operations. Geoffrey Nouws, responsible for robotics at Gom, emphasized that this is a long-term investment rather than a fleeting trend, aiming to create a more resilient sector and deliver greater value to clients. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
