Europe's largest consumer electronics and home appliance show returns to Messe Berlin September 3–7, 2027, after a 2026 edition that featured 11 humanoid robot brands and a RoboCup competition.

EVENT OVERVIEW

IFA 2027 runs September 3–7, 2027 at Messe Berlin, with media days on September 1–2, according to IFA Management GmbH. The show follows its usual early-September, Friday-to-Tuesday pattern and is open to both trade and private visitors. The 2026 edition, held September 4–8, drew 240,000 visitors from 155 countries and more than 2,000 exhibitors, with more than 5,200 media representatives and content creators attending 47 press conferences, according to the organizer. Its core categories are consumer electronics, home appliances and smart home, with a growing future-technology section.

Robotics became one of IFA's headline themes in 2026. The organizer reported 11 humanoid robot brands on site, including Unitree, AgiBot, EngineAI, DEEP Robotics, Dobot and PrimeBot, many of them Chinese, and staged 'Robots on the Runway' demonstrations of humanoids and quadrupeds. RoboCup teams played autonomous robot soccer in Hall 15, and NEURA Robotics CEO David Reger gave a keynote on physical AI. Household robots, from robotic mowers to cleaning robots, also featured across the halls. The 2027 robotics programme has not yet been published.
