Zhicheng AI's CEO Predicts Intelligent Robots Will Become a Trillion-Dollar Industry

At the 2026 World Robot Conference, Hu Luhui, CEO of Zhicheng AI, boldly stated that the era of intelligent robots could lead to a trillion-dollar industry. He emphasized that physical intelligence will have a far greater impact than information intelligence, fundamentally changing human interaction with the physical world.

Zhicheng AI, a pioneer in developing world models, positions this technology as the core of physical intelligence, akin to how Transformers are central to information intelligence. Hu noted that breakthroughs in technology, rather than computational power or data, are crucial for advancement. He advocates for edge deployment of world models, which are smaller and less demanding in terms of data and computation.

Zhicheng AI has secured nearly 1.5 billion yuan in contracts across various sectors, including smart manufacturing, logistics, security inspection, and commercial services. The company has developed high-performance humanoid robots TR6 and XR1, aiming to utilize a single world model to drive different robot forms. Hu believes that the emergence of embodied intelligence will be a gradual process, similar to the evolution of ChatGPT.

Editor's Note

The insights from Hu Luhui highlight a significant shift in the robotics landscape, emphasizing the importance of physical intelligence. As companies like Zhicheng AI push the boundaries of technology, the potential for intelligent robots to transform industries becomes increasingly evident. Stakeholders should monitor advancements in world models and their applications across various sectors.
