Dongguan BanRin Robot Technology Co., Ltd., trading in Chinese as Benrun (Benrun Robot), is a manufacturer of harmonic reducers, industrial robots and factory automation equipment based in the Songshan Lake High-tech Zone of Dongguan, Guangdong. The company was established in September 2013; its predecessor, set up in 2007, designed and built automation equipment and machined precision hardware parts, giving the team more than a decade of automation integration experience. Benrun obtained ISO 9001 certification in January 2016, was recognised as a national high-tech enterprise in 2016 and was quoted on China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ, the New Third Board) in March 2017 under stock code 870887. The company reports a workforce of more than 80 people, with management and R&D staff making up over half, and states that it has been granted about 20 patents, including four invention patents, plus four software copyrights.

Harmonic reducers are Benrun's core product and the reason it appears in the RobotToday humanoid and embodied-AI landscape. The catalogue has four series. The BHS series is a hollow-shaft design with a large through-bore, offered in four connection variants (BHS-I to BHS-IV) in sizes 14, 17, 20, 25, 32, 40 and 45 with reduction ratios of 30, 50, 80, 100, 120 and 160. The BCS and BCSG series are compact cup-type units with two connection variants each, covering the same size and ratio range (BCSG up to size 32). The BHD and BCD series are sealed units with an internal support bearing, in sizes 14 to 20 for BHD (BCD-I up to 32), with ratios of 30, 50, 80 and 100 for sizes 14 and 17 and 50, 80 and 100 for size 20; the company recommends them where a bevel gear or timing belt is mounted on the input side. Benrun lists zero backlash, high stiffness, high torque and coaxial input and output among the series features, and provides drawings for download. Its stated vision is to take Benrun harmonic reducers to the world market.

The company also builds its own robots. Its industrial robot range includes articulated six-axis arms such as the TR6-V600 and TR6-V900 and six-axis robots in 600 mm (TCR-1000), 900 mm (TCR-1105) and 1,200 mm reach classes; four-axis SCARA-type robots such as the BR-LS3, BR-LS6-602, BR-LS6-702S and BR-LS10-803 with 400 to 800 mm reach; four-axis and dual-arm stamping robots (BR-SS3-751S); and three-axis and five-axis non-standard custom machines. Automation products include desktop automatic screw-driving robots (FS6-611S) with drop-feed, magnetic and air-blow screw feeding, and fully automatic ear-loop mask machines.

Benrun has been an EPSON partner since April 2014, acting as a system integrator and certified value-added solution provider for EPSON robot systems, and it designs automation integration projects for 3C electronics, telecommunications, injection moulding, toys, plastics, new energy and hardware manufacturing. Typical tasks listed by the company are parts assembly, inspection, labelling, packaging and pad printing, loading and unloading, screw driving, dispensing, barcode scanning and palletizing. Besides its Songshan Lake office, the company operates a harmonic reducer R&D base in the Benrun Science Park in Dongkeng Town, Dongguan. Its activities have been featured in a CCTV documentary series on Chinese technological innovation in 2023.
