Hyundai Motor Group announced plans to integrate over 25,000 Atlas humanoid robots, developed by its US subsidiary Boston Dynamics, into its vehicle manufacturing processes. This initiative was revealed during an investor relations session hosted by JPMorgan Chase on Monday in Boston. The company aims to enhance its production capabilities by manufacturing key components for these robots in the United States. Officials from six affiliates, including Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Hyundai Mobis, participated in the event, highlighting the group's commitment to innovation and efficiency in its operations.
