Chengdu-registered humanoid robot R&D company behind the Gongga-1 humanoid, the open-source RW-02OP wheeled-biped platform and Raydiculous-1 planning software
Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (成都人形机器人创新中心有限公司) is a limited liability company registered in Chengdu, Sichuan on 12 April 2024 and positioned as a "new-type R&D institution" for humanoid and embodied-intelligence robots. Its technical team is led by Zhang Ruirui, chairman of Chengdu Ruileda Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (成都睿乐达机器人科技有限公司).
Its first full robot, Gongga-1 (贡嘎一号), was launched on 28 October 2024 as an ultra-lightweight full-size humanoid weighing 25 kg with a 5.5 kg maximum payload. On 2 March 2026 the center released RW-02OP, which it describes as the first open-source development platform for a full-size heavy-duty wheeled-biped robot, with documentation distributed through ruidiculous.com/support. Software products include Raydiculous-1, a humanoid reasoning, planning and execution system built on 3D scene graphs, and R-WMES, a world-model-based robot task execution system. The center also builds embodied engineering robots for infrastructure work such as inspection, flaw detection and high-risk operations, and shows a belt-conveyor inspection robot as a featured product.
Funding came in two rounds within one month: a strategic investment from a scenario-owning subsidiary of Shudao Investment Group, then a round above RMB 100 million led by Oriental Fortune Capital with Guanghua Kaiyuan and others following. With PowerChina Chengdu Engineering Corporation, Sinohydro Bureau 7 and Jinjiang Development Group it co-founded the joint venture Zhicheng Ruijin Robot Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. (智成睿锦机器人科技（成都）有限公司), and it is one of four founding members of an engineering embodied-intelligence scenario alliance alongside China Railway Construction High-Tech Equipment and Sichuan Intelligent Construction Technology.
