ROBOTERA Plans Hong Kong IPO to Raise Up to HKD 7.8 Billion Amid Market Surge

ROBOTERA, a humanoid robotics startup, is in discussions for an IPO in Hong Kong, aiming to raise between HKD 62.4 billion and HKD 78 billion. The company, founded in August 2023 and backed by Tsinghua University, has already achieved large-scale deliveries of its bipedal and wheeled humanoid robots.

The significance of ROBOTERA's IPO lies in its timing, as the Hong Kong stock market experiences a surge in IPO activity, with total fundraising reaching USD 41 billion by early August. ROBOTERA's innovative robotics solutions have attracted major clients, including nine of the top ten global tech companies, highlighting its potential impact on the robotics sector.

Looking ahead, ROBOTERA's IPO discussions are ongoing, with the fundraising scale and timeline subject to change. The company has already begun delivering thousands of robots and is positioned as a key player in the next wave of tech IPOs, following AI supply chain companies.
