Körber, an international technology company, is investing in NAiSE GmbH, a German software firm specializing in vendor-agnostic fleet management. This partnership aims to enable customers to manage mixed vehicle fleets across production and warehouse environments, enhancing Körber's fleet management offerings in intralogistics.
The collaboration is significant as it addresses the growing need for efficient orchestration of diverse vehicle fleets, which are often limited by isolated solutions. NAiSE's Fleet Management Software integrates various automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) into a unified control layer, improving efficiency and scalability in logistics operations.
Looking ahead, Körber and NAiSE plan to develop new intralogistics applications, including humanoid robotics. NAiSE will maintain its independence while leveraging Körber's industrial expertise and global network to scale its operations. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
