MEGVII Automation & Robotics is the logistics-automation division of Megvii, a Beijing-based artificial-intelligence company founded in 2011. The robotics division was established in September 2017 and is headquartered in Beijing.
The division develops AIoT-integrated material-handling systems under what it calls its "3A" approach, combining automated storage and retrieval systems, autonomous mobile robots, and AI software. Products include the MegBot-PS three-dimensional pallet shuttle, MegBot-SRM AI-guided stacker cranes, the MegBot-MN mini-load system, and MegBot T-series and S-series autonomous mobile robots, along with a Picking Spider system and visual-picking software running on the company's HETU platform. These systems are deployed in smart warehouses, fulfillment centers, and manufacturing parks for customers in pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, apparel, new energy, retail, and third-party logistics.
The company operates two manufacturing facilities and four AI research and development centers, with branch offices in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Israel, Dubai, and Australia, covering 20 countries and regions through 18 locations. As of 2021 it reported more than 200 enterprise customers globally.
