In August 2023, the World Robot Conference (WRC) introduced a 'Procurement Day' for the first time, focusing on procurement discussions and industry chain connections. Approximately 85 public bidding projects related to humanoid robots were reported, with a total winning bid amount of around 260 million yuan, including 93.77 million yuan for humanoid robots and related configurations.

These institutions are primarily acquiring humanoid robots for courses in artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, and industrial training, leading to a comprehensive procurement system that includes robots, data collection, training scenarios, and course platforms.
Looking ahead, the rental market for robots is gaining traction, with a reported 419% increase in rental orders from leading platforms. The government is also promoting rental over purchase, indicating a shift in market dynamics. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
