Agility has announced the launch of Digit 5, a redesigned humanoid robot featuring a new leg architecture and a lifting capacity of 50 lb (22.7 kg). This model aims to work more closely with human operators, minimizing the need for physical barriers in industrial settings. The announcement was made on September 15, with early access expected in the first half of 2027 and general availability by the end of the same year.
