CosmicBrain AI is a physical AI company whose website, cosmicbrain.ai, presents it as a provider of supervised humanoid robot deployments for data center operations, together with research on transferring human skills to humanoid robots and on evaluating robot task performance. The site does not publish a headquarters address, founding date or team, and the research papers it lists are credited to CosmicBrain AI as an organisation.

The deployment offer is organised around four data center workflows. Compute rounds have a humanoid inspect a pre-registered rack list, reading rack and U positions, asset tags, serial numbers and visible status indicators and recording timestamped images, read confidence and unread tags for site review; GPU tray alignment and insertion are treated as a separate qualification trial. Cooling checks cover coolant distribution unit indicators, visible hose connections and rack-inlet conditions, reconciled with site telemetry. Power checks are limited to external UPS, PDU and switchgear indicators inside an approved inspection boundary, with switching, resets and cabinet access excluded unless separately authorised. Logistics parts runs measure the full interval from request to verified hand-off of a part at the target rack on an approved route. Each pilot is scoped through a sales process that fixes the rack list, route, payload, access rules, operator authority and pass or fail criteria before the first run.

CosmicBrain publishes a pilot scorecard of nine operational measures for these trials: robot availability, round completion, findings confirmed or rejected by site staff, asset-tag audit accuracy against a hand-checked sample, parts run time at p50 and p95, intervention rate, operator control minutes per completed task, incidents including near misses and emergency stops, and robot-to-operator network health covering round-trip time, jitter, packet loss and failovers. The company stresses that failed attempts, takeovers and recovery time must be retained in the results and that these are proposed definitions rather than published measured results. Its datasets page reviews public human-demonstration and robot-teleoperation collections such as EgoVerse and Lightwheel's EgoSuite and offers access to CosmicBrain's own data inventory on request, and the site links to a live teleoperation demonstration and a catalogue of commercial robots including 1X NEO, Agility Digit, Apptronik Apollo, ANYbotics ANYmal X, Clearpath Husky and several Chinese humanoids.

On the research side, the August 2026 Cosmic 0.5 report, titled A Universal Stack for Human-to-Humanoid Skill Transfer, describes converting human video, egocentric recordings and VR teleoperation into a canonical motion representation, retargeting it across different robot bodies and running it on a supervised hardware stack. An October 2026 preprint, Who Checks the Checker?, audits automated scoring across 323 teleoperated robot demonstrations and proposes a telemetry-first verifier stack.
