Suzhou Honpine Precision Industry Co., Ltd., which trades as HONPINE, is a Chinese manufacturer of precision transmission and actuation components, headquartered in the Xubo Science and Technology Park in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The company was founded in 2018 by its co-founder Allen, whose background the company describes as precision mechanical design, gear transmission, tolerance analysis, servo control and robot joint design. HONPINE describes itself as an integrated R&D, manufacturing and sales business that combines harmonic drive, RV (cycloidal-pin) reducer and actuator technology, and says it invests about 15% of revenue in R&D.

The product range covers harmonic drive reducers (standard, flange, extra-large and mini types), RV gear reducers, precision planetary gearboxes and hollow rotating tables, harmonic servo rotary actuators, direct drive torque motors, frameless torque motors, robot joint modules, DC wheel motors for wheeled robots, robot end effectors including a dexterous robot hand, electric grippers and micro electric cylinders, and collaborative robotic arms, including a deep-sea waterproof arm. Its HPJM series harmonic joint modules integrate a frameless torque motor, harmonic drive, brake, dual encoders, temperature sensor and an embedded driver supporting EtherCAT and CANopen, run on DC 24-48 V, and are offered in sizes from RE30 to RE110; the company quotes backlash within 20 arcsec and repeat positioning accuracy of plus or minus 10 arcsec. The TCHL series, launched in 2026 and aimed at embodied-AI developers, puts an output torque sensor directly into the harmonic reducer and integrates cables and connectors, with the size-14 module weighing 0.5 kg. Other robot joint lines include the HAG harmonic gear motor with 20-bit motor-side and 19-bit output-side encoders and optional STO and brake, the HAU high-precision hollow harmonic joint actuator, T-type harmonic joint modules for cobot arms, sealed joint modules for underwater special robots, and the HAT harmonic rotary actuators with rated torque from 4 to 1,200 Nm.

For legged robots HONPINE sells heavy-duty explosion-proof planetary joint actuators, which it says have entered mass production and been integrated into several quadruped robot platforms used for petrochemical, natural-gas inspection and emergency-rescue work. Its FM2 frameless torque motors come in six diameters from 50 to 127 mm with rated torque of 0.36 to 6.40 Nm and power of 207 to 608 W, and are marketed for collaborative, humanoid, quadruped, industrial and rehabilitation robots. The company publishes a humanoid robot joint motor page describing harmonic and planetary modules supplied to humanoid robot clients for ankle, wrist, shoulder, hip and knee joints, and an upgrade of its integrated joint from a five-in-one to a six-in-one design that adds the torque sensor.

Beyond robots, HONPINE's reducers and rotary actuators are sold for semiconductor, 3C, laser-processing, CNC, medical, packaging and printing equipment. The company's timeline lists partnerships from 2020 with Amazon, iFlytek and Midea Group, annual sales above USD 10 million in 2021, the launch of integrated robot joint motors in 2022, stable mass production of joint motors and rotary actuators in 2023, and sales of its HPJM joint modules in more than 50 countries by 2025. It sells internationally through online channels including RobotShop, OzRobotics, DirectIndustry and TraceParts, and says that rising demand from humanoid robot and CNC customers in 2025 led it to add production lines and prepare a new factory.
