On September 24, ZhiYuan launched its 20,000th general-purpose embodied intelligent robot, the Expedition A3 Ultra, at the Hengqin Chimelong Space Park, delivering it to the Chimelong Group. This milestone coincided with the opening of the world's first large-scale embodied intelligent theme park, featuring over 300 ZhiYuan robots engaged in various visitor interactions, guiding, performances, and educational activities.
The delivery of the 20,000th robot signifies ZhiYuan's transition from research and single-point demonstrations to mass production and regular operations. The company produced only six prototype models in 2023, began large-scale production in August 2024, and reached significant milestones, including 1,000 units in January 2025 and 15,000 units by June 2026. The rapid increase from 10,000 to 20,000 units occurred in approximately six months, marking a significant achievement in the humanoid robot industry where most companies have delivered only a few thousand units.
Looking ahead, the focus will be on how many of these 20,000 robots will operate continuously in real-world scenarios and generate value.
