Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., known as Guanggu Dongzhi, is a robotics company founded in February 2025 in Wuhan's Optics Valley, within the East Lake High-Tech Development Zone. Its products are marketed under the Lumen name, rendered as Photon in some materials: the Lumen H1 interactive service robot and wheeled H1D variant, the Lumen S1 high-degree-of-freedom robot for education, entertainment, elder-care, and exhibition use, the Lumen Q1 quadruped robot, the Lumen P1 and P2 cleaning robots, and the Lumen U1 wheeled humanoid for elder-care companionship and health support.
Guanggu Dongzhi runs an R&D headquarters and a manufacturing plant in Wuhan's East Lake zone, and targets elder-care institutions, retail, tourism, and exhibition venues, with reported early deployments in elder-care settings and public demonstrations.
