Xiaomi Reveals Hidden 60-Micron 'OK' Gesture in Xring O3 Chip

Xiaomi's founder, Lei Jun, disclosed a unique feature of the Xring O3 chip, showcasing a microscopic 'OK' hand gesture etched into the silicon. This detail, measuring only 60 micrometers, symbolizes the message 'everything is OK.' The Xring O3 was introduced on August 24 as Xiaomi's premier AI smartphone system-on-chip (SoC).

The significance of this revelation lies in the Xring O3's impressive capabilities, as it is the first flagship mobile chip to achieve over 5 million points on AnTuTu. It features a 10-core all-performance CPU and a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of 200 TOPS, specifically designed for Xiaomi's MiMo on-device AI model, marking a significant advancement in mobile chip technology.
