The case centers around former TSMC engineer Chen, who, after moving to Japanese firm Tokyo Electron, allegedly incited his colleagues Wu and Ge to pilfer sensitive information regarding the mass production tests of etching machines. The accused reportedly took photographs of numerous documents containing critical data.
