Run Robotics, a Shanghai-based company, has introduced the world's first 'centaur' wheel-leg hybrid robot at the WAIC 2026. This innovative AI-powered machine combines wheeled mobility with legged locomotion, allowing it to traverse complex terrains at high speeds. With over 95% of its components produced domestically, the robot is designed for demanding applications such as autonomous inspections, firefighting, and emergency rescue operations.
