EVENT OVERVIEW
FAIR plus 2027 (Fair of AI and Robotics, plus; Chinese name 机器人全产业链接会) takes place April 21–23, 2027 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian, Shenzhen. It is the third edition of a fair launched in 2025 by the Shenzhen Robotics Association together with Messe Stuttgart, the German trade-fair company behind LogiMAT and VISION. The official site also names the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as chair organization, and VDMA Robotics + Automation and the journal Science Robotics as co-organizers. Rather than a general automation show, FAIR plus is built around the robot development and manufacturing chain: core components, integrated joints, dexterous hands, servo systems and sensors; AI algorithms, computing platforms, simulation and robot training fields; production equipment, testing and certification; and complete humanoid, industrial, service, agricultural, medical and emergency-response robots.
The 2026 edition (April 22–24, 2026) covered 15,000 sqm, twice the size of the 2025 launch. According to the organizer, it drew 389 exhibiting companies, 325 speakers, 98 concurrent events and 62,171 professional visits, including 3,326 international visits from 101 countries and regions, with Singapore, South Korea, Japan, the United States and Germany the top overseas sources; preliminary on-site deals were put at nearly RMB 200 million. For 2027 the organizers target 30,000 sqm, more than 600 exhibitors, more than 80,000 professional visitors, more than 80 concurrent events and more than 100 overseas buyer groups. New this edition are an official German Pavilion under the German federal trade-fair program, a VISION machine-vision pavilion and a logistics solutions demo area powered by LogiMAT. The 2026 program ran in four series: FIRST forums on robot science and technology (with VDMA/IFR and Science Robotics sessions), the POWER industry-finance summit, MATCH supply-and-demand matchmaking including closed-door sessions for overseas buyer groups, and UNITE events on technical standards and developer communities. The fair is open to industry professionals only, with free online pre-registration; stands start at RMB 25,000 for a 9 sqm booth.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Third edition; show floor doubles to 30,000 sqm at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center
Organizer targets: 600+ exhibitors, 80,000+ visitors, 100+ overseas buyer groups
New German Pavilion, VISION pavilion and LogiMAT logistics demo area
Full-chain focus: components, joints, dexterous hands, AI brains, production and testing
2026: 62,171 visits, 3,326 international, nearly RMB 200M in preliminary deals
RECOMMENDED ATTENDEES
Best for robot makers, humanoid start-ups and system integrators sourcing joints, reducers, servo drives, dexterous hands, sensors and computing from the Shenzhen supply chain; overseas distributors and buyer delegations looking for Chinese components and complete robots; European and German component and machine-vision suppliers entering China through the German and VISION pavilions; logistics and warehouse-automation buyers (LogiMAT area); and investors, researchers and standards bodies following embodied AI. It is a sourcing and matchmaking show rather than a broad showcase: for big-brand humanoid demos, the World Robot Conference in Beijing (August 2027) is larger, and for general industrial automation, CIIF in Shanghai (September).
