Multiway Robotics has successfully deployed an intelligent warehouse automation system for a manufacturing company in Malaysia, integrating autonomous forklifts with warehouse management software to enhance storage capacity and material handling. This project supports over 5,000 storage locations, including raw material warehouses and finished goods storage, and has reportedly increased storage density by more than 30 percent.
The significance of this deployment lies in its contribution to the ongoing trend of warehouse automation and digital transformation among manufacturers in Southeast Asia. By addressing the customer's growing storage needs and complex material flows, Multiway Robotics has implemented a fleet of autonomous forklifts alongside its proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Robot Control System (RCS), facilitating end-to-end automation of warehouse operations.
Looking ahead, the system's capabilities include managing raw material receiving, finished goods storage, and internal material transportation.
