On January 7, 2026, JAKA Robotics and Intel China formalized their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding in Shanghai, aimed at advancing the commercialization of Embodied AI technology. This partnership seeks to transition AI from research environments into practical applications across various industries.
JAKA Robotics, known for its comprehensive product lineup including the JAKA Kargo Wheeled Humanoid Robot and the JAKA Lumi Embodied AI Platform, will leverage Intel's expertise in advanced computing and artificial intelligence. Together, they plan to develop adaptable, ready-to-deploy solutions that can enhance productivity in industrial manufacturing and commercial services.
The collaboration will focus on three key areas: joint technical innovation, where Intel's hardware, including the Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors, will be integrated with JAKA's robotics; scalable industry solutions that transform AI concepts into practical applications; and ecosystem development, which aims to create an open industry network through joint marketing and support for academic and industry partners.
Wang Jingjia, General Manager of Intel China's Industry and Solutions Division, emphasized the importance of integrating robust computing platforms with innovative robotics to facilitate the widespread adoption of Embodied AI. This partnership represents a pivotal move toward realizing the potential of Embodied AI, promising smarter interactions and greater precision in the physical economy.
