Honor Announces Global Launch of First Robot Phone at WAIC 2026 for August Release

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Honor CEO Li Jian announced the global launch of the company's first Robot Phone, set for August. Pre-orders are currently available across all sales channels, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation in mobile technology.

The Robot Phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and features a 1.5K flat display with ultra-narrow bezels. Its standout feature is a four-degree-of-freedom (4DoF) titanium-alloy robotic gimbal, which allows for 360-degree subject tracking and AI-enhanced cinematic camera movements, making it a significant advancement in smartphone capabilities.

The device includes a flagship triple-camera system with a 200MP main camera, a telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Honor's collaboration with ARRI aims to provide professional-grade video recording and color grading, enhancing the Robot Phone's appeal for content creators. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
