D-Robotics Secures $400 Million in Series C Funding to Enhance AI Robotics Platform

D-Robotics has successfully raised $400 million in Series C funding aimed at expanding its Sunrise robotics chips and software platform for AI-powered systems, including humanoid robots. This funding round included contributions from an unnamed global internet company, institutional investors, and existing shareholders. The company reported significant revenue growth in the first half of 2026, with Sunrise chip shipments exceeding 8 million units.

The importance of this funding lies in D-Robotics' plans to enhance its robotics computing chips and software platform, which supports a wide range of AI applications. The Sunrise S600 chip has already been adopted by over 20 customers, and the Gravity Program has assisted more than 500 robotics developers. The platform is utilized by over 500 universities and 100,000 developers across more than 20 countries, indicating a robust ecosystem for AI robotics development.

Looking ahead, D-Robotics aims to expand its Sunrise chip portfolio and develop a comprehensive software platform for robot developers. The company has entered mass production for its embodied AI business, and its integrated hardware and software infrastructure has completed large-scale validation. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
