D-Robotics is a Chinese robotics computing platform company headquartered in Shenzhen, founded in January 2024 as a spin-off from the AIoT division of Horizon Robotics (HKEX-listed). The company designs and distributes the RDK (Robot Development Kit) hardware and software stack, targeting developers building consumer robots, humanoid robots, robotic lawn mowers, and robotic vacuum cleaners. Its product line spans the RDK X3 (5 TOPS), RDK X5 (10 TOPS), and RDK S100 (80+ TOPS) development boards, all powered by the proprietary BPU AI acceleration engine.
The software ecosystem includes the Node Hub open-source algorithm library (200+ packages), RDK Studio IDE, and full ROS 2 integration. D-Robotics has raised a total of approximately USD 370 million across Series A and Series B rounds from investors including GL Ventures, Temasek (Vertex Growth), Didi, Meituan, and BAIC Capital.
