China has introduced its inaugural national standard framework for humanoid robots and embodied artificial intelligence, as reported by state broadcaster CCTV. The framework, known as the Humanoid Robot and Embodied Intelligence Standard System (2026 edition), was presented during an industry standardization meeting held in Beijing.
