Bleu Robotics, based in France, has successfully raised €5 million in pre-seed funding aimed at developing AI software that enables humanoid robots to learn new factory tasks with fewer demonstrations. This innovative approach is designed to significantly reduce the time required for robots to be operational in manufacturing settings.
The funding round was co-led by Contrarian Ventures and OVNI Capital, with additional participation from Kvanted, WEPA, and investor Charlie Songhurst. Bleu Robotics' software allows robots to learn from as few as 10 demonstrations, allowing for rapid adaptation to changing production needs without the need for extensive coding.
Bleu Robotics aims to streamline the humanoid robot deployment process to under one hour. The company is already in the process of deploying its technology with major automotive manufacturers and WEPA, a European hygiene-paper producer, although specific names of the automotive companies were not disclosed at the time of publication.
