Apple has introduced its new 14-inch MacBook Pro, powered by the M6 chip, which boasts 24 hours of battery life and supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Starting at $1,999, the laptop is available in space black and silver, and features significant performance improvements over its predecessor, the M5 chip.
The M6 chip includes a 12-core CPU and GPU, offering up to 30% faster graphics and 25% faster AI workloads compared to the M5. Additionally, it provides up to 13 times the LLM prompt-processing speed of the M1 MacBook Pro. The new MacBook Pro also supports fast charging, reaching 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
Apple's new MacBook Pro and iMac, both powered by the M6 chip, can be preordered starting October 28, with availability set for November 6. The iMac features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display and starts at $1,499, highlighting Apple's continued focus on performance and design in its latest offerings.
