Hira Industries Enhances Storage Capacity with Vertical Warehouse Solution

Hira Industries has successfully addressed its capacity challenges by investing in a high-density vertical warehouse, now one of the largest in the Gulf region. This strategic move was necessitated by the company's expansion across the GCC, India, Southeast Asia, and the United States, which increased demand on storage and logistics operations. The implementation of a vertical storage strategy, featuring racking systems extending up to 15 meters and material storage reaching 18 meters, has allowed Hira to maximize cubic space. Supported by Combilift and Kanoo Machinery UAE, the warehouse transformation has resulted in a 40% increase in storage capacity, raising pallet positions from approximately 1,000 to nearly 4,000. Looking ahead, Hira Industries aims to leverage this enhanced storage capability to support its long-term growth and operational efficiency. The introduction of Aisle Master forklifts has improved material handling and safety, ensuring a consistent workflow across the facility. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
