The critical robot arm on the ISS isn't working properly, but NASA has a plan to fix it
In May, a section of the Canadarm2 robotic arm on the International Space Station (ISS) sustained damage, prompting the need for repairs by astronauts. The repairs are scheduled to take place no earlier than June 30. Fortunately, a spare part is already available on the station, which will facilitate the repair process. The incident highlights the ongoing maintenance challenges faced by the ISS as it continues to support various scientific missions in low Earth orbit.
