Taiwan's vision AI company oToBrite Electronics announced it will showcase its 3D stereo vision camera module for robots at ROBOTWORLD 2026 in South Korea on October 28, 2026. The demonstration will also feature a GMSL2 camera connected to NVIDIA's Holoscan Sensor Bridge, addressing the visual needs of humanoid robots, quadrupedal robots, and unmanned vehicles.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is a compact 3D stereo vision camera module co-developed with semiconductor manufacturer indie, which meets the IP69K dust and water resistance standard. It features a 3-megapixel global shutter that synchronizes the left and right cameras at a hardware level in under one microsecond, ensuring high-precision depth recognition when combined with oToBrite's SDK, oToVision.
OToBrite plans to enhance visual recognition technology in collaboration with partner companies as the applications for autonomous robots expand. The company aims to provide comprehensive vision solutions for robots and unmanned vehicles, with no further timeline disclosed at the time of publication.
