Yuanhua Tech (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., also known as Yuanhua Intelligent Technology, is a Chinese medical-robotics company founded in 2018 and headquartered in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen, Guangdong province. The company designs and manufactures surgical robots and related medical devices, and established an international headquarters at Hong Kong Science Park in 2022.
The company's flagship product is the KUNWU surgical robot, an orthopaedic system built around a seven-degree-of-freedom robotic arm with gravity compensation and an adaptive-balance chassis, developed in-house rather than assembled from third-party components. KUNWU combines total knee arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty and uni-compartmental knee arthroplasty on one platform, with Chinese regulatory clearances granted for TKA in 2022, THA in 2023 and UKA in 2024. Other Yuanhua products include the Miaoweivist wireless capsule endoscopy system for digestive-tract examination and the Shencai automated nucleic-acid sampling robot, which uses facial recognition to identify patients.
By the company's own account, KUNWU had been used in more than six thousand clinical procedures across joint, spine and trauma cases at seven centers in China, with a first international procedure performed in Brazil in 2026. Yuanhua has raised a Series B round reported at USD 30.73 million and plans a public listing.
