CEO Claus Möhlenkamp emphasized that the center is a pivotal element of Kordel's global strategy, enhancing its role in innovation and collaboration within the robotics ecosystem.
The establishment of the Co-Creation Center comes at a time when the industry is poised for mass production of humanoid robots. Key challenges include ensuring the reliability and performance of robotic components like joints and actuators in real-world industrial applications. Kordel has set ambitious long-term goals for its humanoid robotics business, aiming for 4 billion RMB in revenue by 2035. The center will serve as a hub for collaboration with industry partners like Titanium Tiger Robotics and Beijing University of Technology, fostering innovation and establishing industry standards in sealing, lubrication, and other critical areas of robotics.
