"Creating the World's Most Human-Friendly Worksite"
Kagawa maker of TOMOROBO collaborative rebar-tying robots that tie a joint in 2.7 s or less at 200 mm pitch, plus a rail-running material carrier.
Ken Robotech Corporation is a Japanese construction-technology company that develops labor-saving robots and products for reinforced-concrete work. It was founded on July 3, 2013 and is headquartered in Miki-cho, Kita-gun, Kagawa Prefecture, with a Tokyo office in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku. Its founder and CEO, Tatsuya Manabe, came to robotics from construction-site work, and the company describes its mission as creating the world's most human-friendly worksite. Capital is 50 million yen.
The core product line is TOMOROBO, a series of collaborative robots that work alongside rebar crews rather than replacing them.
Supporting tools include the Tomosapo user program and a tying-operation simulator. Beyond robots, Ken Robotech sells the SOKUTETSU range of labor-saving rebar products (V-bar spacer, J-wire, Kachispe), the HATARAKU range of work-environment products (including the Masuraku mask spacer, Clejia and Go Anzen ni), construction DX support services and contract development. It co-developed a rebar tying assist device, an extension handle, with Shimizu Corporation, and its products are listed on the IPROS industrial catalogue.
Ken Robotech is venture-backed. In February 2025 it raised an additional 180 million yen to close a Series B round totaling 330 million yen, with investors including the Awagin Future Creation Fund, JR East Startup and bearing maker NSK, bringing total funding since founding to about 780 million yen. It has also set up a Singapore office, Ken Robotech Asia, through a startup support program.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
