On August 21, Vbot officially launched the humanoid robot 'Vbot ATOM' at the 2026 World Robot Conference, opening pre-orders for the product. The ATOM is powered by the S100P smart computing chip from Digua Robotics, marking a continuation of their strategic partnership established in August 2025. This collaboration aims to enhance AI computing capabilities for various living space scenarios, including home, retail, public, and office services.
The Vbot ATOM is designed specifically for everyday environments, standing 160 cm tall with a wingspan of 180 cm and 31 degrees of freedom. Its fabric covering and silent foot design minimize discomfort and noise during long-term interactions. The product's foundation is strengthened by the success of Vbot's quadruped robot, which has achieved significant user engagement metrics, including 1.26 million interactions and an 86% user retention rate over two weeks.
Looking ahead, Vbot plans to leverage the proven methodologies from its quadruped robot to enhance the humanoid ATOM. The S100P chip's integrated architecture supports real-time decision-making without cloud reliance, facilitating the transfer of capabilities from the quadruped to the humanoid robot. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
