Endoline Automation is the trading name of Endoline Machinery Ltd, a British manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machinery based at Stratton Business Park, London Road, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. The Endoline group has built packaging machinery in the UK since 1981 and states that it has installed more than 11,000 machines worldwide. Design, build and technical support are handled in-house, and all machinery is manufactured at the UK head office before being shipped to customers or distributors. Customer testimonials on the official site describe it as a family-run business building machines to customer specification.
The company started with small case taping machines and now covers the full secondary packaging line. Its case erectors range from the semi-automatic 100 Series to fully automatic models such as the 221/223, 2218, 222/224, 225/226 and 2518/2538, and high-speed models 227/228, 241/243, 242/244 and 247/248. The 221/223, described as its most popular system, handles cases of 200-500 mm length, 150-400 mm width and 175-600 mm open height at up to 16 cases per minute as standard, 18 in high-speed form and 22 with an optional servo upgrade, using dual opposing vacuum opening. Case sealers include pre-set tapers (610, 621/625, 706, 710, 602/607, 613, 702), 400 Series case gluers, random case sealers (407, 704, 7048, 714, 734, 744) and the 902 water-activated tape sealer. The servo-driven 744 random case sealer reads each case by barcode and seals at 30 cases per minute in any random size sequence. The range also includes 500 Series hot-melt tray erectors, semi- and fully automatic case packers such as the all-in-one 321 case packer, special systems and reconditioned machines sold with a 12-month parts and labour warranty.
Robotics is run through Endoline Robotics Limited, a sister company created by Endoline Machinery together with a strategic partnership with FANUC. It installs FANUC-powered robotic palletising systems that can serve up to five production lines simultaneously and can be combined with automatic pallet stretch wrapping and label printing and application; vision systems and interchangeable end-of-arm tooling allow mixed SKUs, cases, bags, pails and bottles to be palletised on one line. In September 2026 Endoline showed a fully integrated case erecting, sealing and palletising line at the PPMA Show, adding gantry and articulated robot solutions through a collaboration with Montech.
Endoline sells directly in the UK and Ireland and through a trained international distributor network, including Murray Packaging in Scotland, Mercamer in Finland and Sweden, and Moba for the worldwide egg industry. Typical users are food, snacks, pharmaceutical and consumer goods producers; customers quoted on its website include Hobbs, Red Distillery and Baker Ross. Service agreements, installation, operator training, spares and factory and site acceptance testing are offered alongside the machines.
