As China's 'Healthy China' initiative progresses and the national strategy to address population aging is implemented, technological innovation is becoming a key driver for the high-quality development of the health and wellness industry. Recently, Songyan Power and Yiling Group have partnered to explore new pathways for intelligent health and wellness services, leveraging Yiling Group's comprehensive service capabilities in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, and precision medicine.
The collaboration aims to integrate Songyan Power's bionic robot, 'Xiaoyue', into Yiling Group's daily health services, addressing the growing health demands of the population. The focus is on creating a more intelligent, efficient, and empathetic service experience, which requires advanced capabilities in perception, language understanding, emotional expression, and adaptability from the robots.
Looking ahead, the partnership is set to contribute to the digital and intelligent transformation of health services, supported by clear policy guidance. The Ministry of Civil Affairs and 14 other departments have outlined a three-year action plan (2026-2028) that includes health and wellness robots as a key focus area, aiming for large-scale implementation of rehabilitation assistive devices and services by 2026.
