Beijing-based LivSyn Robotics has successfully raised a Series A funding round of at least RMB 100 million, as announced on October 8. This funding round included financial investors, the publicly listed Suwen Electric Energy, and an undisclosed strategic investor specializing in embodied AI.
The significance of this funding lies in LivSyn's development of RUDA, or Robotics Unified Device Architecture, which connects various robot designs with AI models and agents. Their PhiAgent engine transforms human demonstration videos into training data for robots, while RoboAgent manages task execution and integrates feedback into the system. This technology is already being applied in industrial sectors such as optical-module insertion, battery assembly, and electronics inspection.
Looking ahead, LivSyn's platform aims to facilitate the transfer of data and learned skills across different robots, minimizing the need for extensive retraining and deployment for each new machine. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
