Company Overview

Guangzhou PHYBOT Technology Co., Ltd., operating under the brand PHYBOT and known in Chinese as Dongyi Technology, is an embodied-intelligence robotics company founded in September 2024. The company describes itself as centered on its self-developed physical agent architecture, PhyAgents, positioning that system as the core engine driving a family of humanoid and legged robot products aimed at manufacturing, special-duty operations and life-service scenarios. In early 2026 PHYBOT opened a dedicated smart-manufacturing center in Guangzhou to move its designs from laboratory prototypes into volume production.

The company's product lineup spans multiple robot form factors. PHYBOT M1 is a bipedal humanoid robot standing approximately 180 centimeters tall and weighing about 70 kilograms, built with more than 32 degrees of freedom using PHYBOT's self-developed joint actuator modules. PHYBOT C2 is a smaller, 135-centimeter humanoid with more than 25 degrees of freedom, designed for personalized guided-tour and multimodal interaction applications such as reception and companionship roles. PHYBOT D1 is a four-wheel-legged platform that combines cargo and passenger carrying capability with strong off-road mobility for field and logistics use. Underpinning these platforms is PhyArc, an integrated high-performance joint module that combines a cycloidal reducer, torque motor and drive electronics into a single unit intended for reuse across the company's robot lines.

In February 2026, alongside the opening of its Guangzhou manufacturing center, PHYBOT announced the start of mass production for the PHYBOT C2 humanoid and simultaneously open-sourced elements of its core robot control system, a move the company framed as part of its strategy to accelerate adoption of its embodied intelligence platform across the wider robotics developer community.

PHYBOT is one of two similarly named entities in the Chinese market, alongside a separate Beijing-registered company; the Guangzhou entity is the one exhibiting under the PHYBOT brand, developing and manufacturing the M1, C2 and D1 robot platforms described above.
