Leap Motor and FAW Group Enhance Strategic Cooperation with New Agreement

On August 24, Leap Motor and FAW Group signed a deepened strategic cooperation agreement in Changchun, attended by key executives from both companies. This agreement aims to leverage their resources and technological advantages to enhance collaboration in various fields, including capital cooperation, new energy vehicles, intelligent driving assistance, and lightweight components.

The partnership builds on previous cooperation, including a memorandum signed in March 2025, which outlined joint development in new energy passenger vehicles. FAW Group's investment in Leap Motor solidified their relationship, with FAW acquiring a 5% stake. The collaboration has already yielded positive results, with a new model set to enter production and significant growth in Leap Motor's sales.

Looking ahead, Leap Motor plans to hold a technology conference in September 2026 to unveil advanced driving models. The partnership is expected to drive innovation and enhance competitiveness in the Chinese new energy vehicle market, with both companies aiming for high-quality development in the industry.
