Jiangsu Reliance Energy Tech. Co., Ltd. is a high-performance lithium battery manufacturer founded in November 2021 and headquartered at 66 Zhufeng Road, Xinbei District, Changzhou, Jiangsu, China, within the Binjiang Economic Development Zone. The company is led by founder and chairwoman Chen Xuan, a 26-year veteran in high-end industrial R&D with more than 15 years of lithium battery expertise.
Reliance Energy specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of tabless large cylindrical lithium batteries in 21700 and 46-series form factors. Its proprietary tabless mass-production technology — with technical routes spanning ultra-high power, ultra-high power + high capacity, and hybrid configurations — eliminates the traditional tab welding process, yielding lower internal resistance, superior thermal performance, and higher energy density. The company operates a registered capital of RMB 1.524 billion and has planned a phased rollout of over 50 GWh of tabless high-performance cylindrical cell capacity.
The first mass-production cell was produced on November 1, 2024. Reliance Energy has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Hitachi Air Conditioning and ZTE, and serves application domains including power tools, robotics, AGVs, robotic lawnmowers, e-bikes, eVTOLs, passenger EVs, and construction machinery.
