Kave Home has chosen TGW Logistics to automate its new logistics hub in Tordera, Spain, set to launch by the end of 2028. This highly automated fulfillment center will utilize advanced technologies including miniload systems, high-bay automated storage, and autonomous mobile robots to enhance Kave Home's e-commerce and retail operations.
The automation project is crucial for Kave Home's international expansion strategy, aiming to increase operational capacity to meet growing demand across various sales channels. The facility will handle a diverse range of product sizes, from small packages to large furniture items, ensuring efficient processing and storage.
Once operational, the logistics hub will support up to 21,000 packages daily and provide 93,000 pallet positions, significantly boosting Kave Home's storage capacity. This development is expected to improve delivery speed, picking accuracy, and overall customer experience, as noted by Kave Home's CEO Francesc Julià and TGW Logistics representatives.
