MFR (Mobile Fulfillment Robotics) — Samsung C&T Venture
Samsung C&T robotics initiative for mobile fulfillment and autonomous delivery robots deployed in residential complexes and logistics sites in South Korea.
MFR (Mobile Fulfillment Robotics) is a robotics venture associated with Samsung C&T Corporation, South Korea's diversified engineering and construction conglomerate. Samsung C&T has developed and deployed autonomous mobile robot services including 'Deli-Pick Me' and 'Carry Robot' across its Raemian residential apartment complexes in Seoul, South Korea, in partnership with autonomous robot startup Neubility and its self-driving robot 'Neubi' for last-mile delivery. Samsung C&T separately invested approximately $11.2 million in construction robot startup Robotics Construction Technologies (Robocon) in September 2023.
The broader Samsung group has invested $181 million in Rainbow Robotics to become its largest shareholder, gaining access to dual-arm mobile manipulators and autonomous mobile robots deployed in fulfillment settings, including a pilot at the Coupang fulfillment center. Note: 'MFR' as a standalone registered entity separate from Samsung C&T Corporation could not be independently verified; this record reflects Samsung C&T's documented mobile fulfillment robotics activities.
