DJI Mini 3 Receives Significant $100 Price Reduction to $319

DJI has announced a $100 price reduction on the Mini 3, bringing its price down to $319, the lowest ever for this model. This drone is known for its ability to capture cinematic 4K footage and offers an impressive flight time of up to 38 minutes, making it an attractive option for both beginners and casual creators.

The Mini 3, weighing just 248 grams, remains under the FAA's registration threshold, while its 1/1.3-inch camera sensor delivers high-quality 4K HDR video and 48MP photos. The drone's battery life is a standout feature, and the option to upgrade to a Battery Plus extends flight time to 51 minutes, although it increases the weight slightly.

As DJI products become harder to find in the US, this price cut presents a timely opportunity for consumers. While the Mini 3 lacks some advanced features found in newer models, it remains a solid choice for first-time pilots and those looking to capture aerial footage for social media at an accessible price point. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.

Editor's Note

The significant price drop of the DJI Mini 3 highlights the competitive landscape in the consumer drone market. As manufacturers innovate and release newer models, older versions like the Mini 3 can offer substantial value for entry-level users. This trend may influence purchasing decisions, especially as consumers seek affordable options without compromising on essential features.
