Yaskawa Europe GmbH is the European regional headquarters and principal operating subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corporation, the Japanese industrial automation and robotics group founded in Kitakyushu, Japan in 1915. The European subsidiary is registered at the Frankfurt am Main District Court under HRB 88369 and has been present in Europe since 1979, with the GmbH entity formally established in 1981.

The company is headquartered at Philipp-Reis-Strasse 6, 65795 Hattersheim am Main, Hessen, Germany. In April 2023, Yaskawa inaugurated a purpose-built EMEA headquarters in Hattersheim's industrial park following a EUR 23 million construction investment, replacing a long-standing leased facility in Eschborn. The new complex includes offices, a technology demonstration center, and a training facility staffed by qualified instructors for Motoman robot programming and Yaskawa drive technology.

Yaskawa Europe serves markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Five country-level locations exist in Germany (Hattersheim, Nuremberg, and Allershausen), France, Italy, Sweden, and Spain. Total headcount across the European organization is approximately 700 employees. A European Motoman robot assembly factory in Kocevje, Slovenia, opened in 2019, supplying approximately 80 percent of European Motoman robot demand.

The product portfolio comprises three main divisions. The Robotics Division offers the Motoman branded articulated, SCARA, delta, and collaborative robot series covering payloads from sub-1 kg to over 600 kg. Representative models include the GP4 (4 kg payload, 0.01 mm repeatability) and GP20 (20 kg payload, 1.8 m reach, IP67 wrist). The Drives and Motion Controls Division offers Sigma series AC servo systems, variable frequency drives including medium voltage inverters, and machine controllers. The company's Sigma-X series represents the current generation of high-performance AC servo amplifiers and motors.
