Yushu Technology, one of the 'Six Little Dragons of Hangzhou,' is set to begin its IPO on August 10, coinciding with the completion of IPO guidance by Yunshen Technology. This marks a significant moment for Zhejiang's embodied intelligence industry, which is gaining prominence as the first humanoid robot stock in China's A-share market.
Zhejiang has emerged as an undisputed hub for embodied intelligence, with over 700 companies in Hangzhou alone. The industry cluster is projected to reach a value of 106.8 billion yuan by 2025, with quadruped and humanoid robots capturing 80% and 50% of the domestic market share, respectively. In the first half of this year, Zhejiang accounted for approximately 60% of the national exports of intelligent bionic robots.
Yushu Technology aims to penetrate both consumer and general markets, with revenue expected to soar from 159 million yuan in 2023 to 1.699 billion yuan by 2025. Meanwhile, Yunshen Technology focuses on specialized applications, having deployed quadruped robots in high-risk areas like Switzerland's largest nuclear power plant. As these leading companies prepare for their A-share debut, Zhejiang is transitioning from a robotics manufacturing base to a source of innovation in embodied intelligence.
Editor's Note
The rapid growth of Zhejiang's embodied intelligence sector highlights the region's potential as a leader in robotics innovation. With significant investments in technology and a robust ecosystem of supporting companies, the area is well-positioned to attract further investment and talent. The upcoming IPOs of Yushu Technology and Yunshen Technology could catalyze additional advancements in the industry.
