This marked the first time a Chinese team reached the finals in the show's history, with their performance quickly garnering over 6 million views online after the debut.
The performance integrated Chinese martial arts with street dance, impressing judges and leading to a direct advancement to the finals after receiving the Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara. In the finale, Yushu Robotics featured their G1-W roller-skating robot and G1 humanoid robot, performing complex movements alongside traditional water sleeve dance, highlighting the fusion of technology and culture.
Despite facing strong competition and not securing a top position, Yushu Robotics emphasized the importance of their appearance, showcasing Chinese culture and advanced robotics on a global stage. They aimed to demonstrate that humanoid robots can express and create, elevating traditional art forms and making them visible to a worldwide audience.
